Private Participants (PPs) are known contacts to whom a Project Manager grants privileged access to the project he is managing. There are two types of PPs:

  • Owners (including any trusted others with an interest in the project)
  • Prequalified Suppliers.

Owners

Owners may use the Project Hub to oversee all aspects of the project as if they are the Manager, however they cannot add or make any changes to the data ('look but do not touch').

Prequalified Suppliers

Prequalified suppliers are users having access to an unpublished project with Role Follow. They obtain the reserved right to submit proposals.

The Prequalified Supplier feature may be used for restricted tenders, restricted calls for tenders, or invited tenders, all of which are open to selected suppliers or contractors only.

In this situation, the Manager dos not publish the Project and, in summary, for every Prequalified Supplier:

  • He simply adds the contact Email to the Prequalified Suppliers list (the recommended method), or
  • He communicates (privately) the Project Key to the contact User. The Project Key is shown in the Profile tab of the  Project Hub . Indeed, any prequalified supplier wishing to be granted access without providing an email can use the  Leads Finder  by Invitation and enter the Project Key; an entry is automatically added to the Prequalified Suppliers list (at contact's first Sign in if not yet Signed in), providing a visual confirmation.

Use the PPs tab of the  Project Hub  to add to the list of Private Participants, for each of the two types.
