The Scope is a description of Project goals, what needs to be achieved. It's intent is to provide some information about the Project to potential Responders, particularly before Requests For Proposals (RFPs) are finalized and made public.

It remains private until it is Released, even after Project Publication.

After Scope Release, Followers of the Project can see the Scope.

Scope Document Edit

To enter/edit a Scope document:

  1. Project Hub
  2. Click the Scope tab from the Project Hub menu ribbon (row below the Main menu). A large box appears. The following shows how the Scope tab appears the first time it is entered:

  1. Click inside the box to enter the Document Editor.
  2. Enter/edit the document contents.

Note that:

  • The Scope may be updated at any time
  • The Editor box can be enlarged (or reduced) by dragging it's bottom right corner
  • There are no Checklists available (in this example).

Scope Release

The Scope must be Released before Followers may see it. This enables it to be developed privately.

To Release a Scope, click the  button.

After Release:

  • Followers may see your Scope Document
  • Scope updates do not need re-Release after evey update. Followers always see your latest edition
  • Scope Release advances the Project to Stage Scope.

The following shows:

  • A part of a prepared Scope entered in the Editor box
  • The Scope Status (located below the Editor), Updated and Released in the example:
