When a Manager proceeds to trash a project (other than the Demo project) and there are Followers:

  • The Project cannot be deleted
  • The Project is set to stage Abandon
  • All RFPs Released in the Project are automatically Canceled, with Cancel Reason set to Canceled by the Project Manager
  • New proposals and proposal submittals are blocked for all RFPs released within the project
  • The Project is automatically set to Unpublished, with no possibility of re-publishing
  • All list entries of the Project, across all Followers (including Responders), remain on the respective lists
  • They, as well as The Manager, see the Project with a purple background
  • When all Followers have trashed their entries, the Manager can then repeat the trash and proceed to carry out the Delete.

Note that if there are no Followers, to Abandon is not necessary. Simply Trash the Project: the project and all it's associated data are permanently deleted.

To Abandon a Project:

  1. Click  My Projects
  2. Select a Project from the list by clicking anywhere on the list row. The selected project is highlighted:

  1. Click the checkbox twinning the desired List entry ():
    •  A Trashcan iconappears at the top of the List
    • An information box that explains how to complete the Trash appears:

  1.  Click  OK .
  2. Click the . A request to confirm appears:

  1. Click  OK . The confirmation appears. The Project is set to:
    • stage Abandon
    • Unpublished
    • Purple background list entry:

If you attempt to Trash the Project after it has been Abandoned, the following appears:

Note that the message includes the current Followers count (1 in the example).
