With the Leads Finder, you may find projects others have published and add them to your own list, as projects to follow and submit proposals in response to RFPs the Manager has released.

There are three (3) variations of the Leads Finder:

  • by Job/Type
  • by Skill
  • by Invitation.

The Leads Finder:

  • Searches for projects that meet your search criteria
  • Except for the by Invitation variation, displays candidate projects as pins on a map, projects that you may select to include into your own list, as projects to follow. Note that Projects already on your List are excluded as candidates
  • Creates entries in your Project List of the projects you choose to follow with the caption Follow under the My Role column
  • May be tested at any time. To undue the test results, simply trash the projects added to your list.

To initiate a search:

  1. Click the Leads Finder button. The three (3) Variations appear on a sub-menu.

  1. Click the desired Variation. A box appears where you may set your Search Criteria.

Note that the following apply to the by Job/Type and by Skill Search Criteria:

  • The Search Window Center defaults to your device's current location
  • You may override the default and type in any Location as a Search Window Center
  • The Search Window Center Location does not require a complete address
  • Searches do not cross administrative areas (states, provinces, territories, etc.) within countries
  • The Project database is populated with some 1500 invented projects, spread throughout the USA, Great Britain, Canada and Australia, all Published Residential New builds at the RFP stage requiring Framing and Carpentry skills, whose purpose is to provide a base for exercising the Leads Finder. This collection of invented projects is referred to as the Fictives by the application. The Leads Finder offers an option to Include fictives in searches, useful for trying the Leads Finder in places where real projects are scarce
  • The Include fictives in search checkbox defaults to Unchecked.
