When a Legal Notice is issued against an Attachment, Followers must agree with the Notice before they may proceed to download the attachment file.

Attachments are uploaded without Legal Notices.

To enter a new Legal Notice or to edit an existing one:

  1. Click Legal Notice inside the desired Attachment panel. An editor box is opened below the list of attachment panels.
  2. Enter/Edit the text of your Legal Notice. The following shows an example:

Issue

Legal Notices remain private until the Legal Notice is Issued. To toggle the Issue status of an Attachment's Legal Notice, simply click the  box (or the   box) inside the desired Attachment panel.

A request to confirm appears:

After confirmation:

  •  becomes , or
  •  becomes  

The following example shows the panel list after the Legal Notice of the House Plan Attachment is Issued:

The following shows how the Issued Legal Notice appears when any Follower attempts to Download the House Plan file of the Birch Valley B&B Project and  is set to :

If the Follower does not agree to the Legal Notice, the download is not carried out.
